Lectureship
The main lectureship consisted of 9 sessions, brought by preachers who serve in various congregations across Alaska. The theme was "A Harvest of Righteousness", and each session was built upon a passage or theme within the book of James. The point of the lectureship was to create a lasting image of the life completely surrendered to Christ, as set forth by James in his letter to the churches of the 1st century. Will we have the desire and courage to live separate and different from the culture around us, and embrace the culture and life portrayed by the word of God?
The speakers and sessions:
The Full Effect of Steadfastness (James 1:2-18) - Tony Cloud, Anchorage
"Religion" (James 1:19-27) - Michael Dale, South Anchorage
The Call to the Work (James 2:14-26) - Ben Buchanan, Eagle River
The Word of God/The Tongue of Man (James 3:1-12) - George Jensen, Wasilla
